We plant in drifts so the border reads well from March to the first frost: structural shrubs, perennials, grasses and bulbs, matched to sun, shade and your appetite for weeding. Anything we plant is guaranteed for five years.

The difference between a lawn that lasts and one that scalps is the ground underneath. We cultivate, level and feed before a blade of turf goes down. If you would rather not mow, ask about the meadow mixes instead.

Oak and larch pergolas, sleeper retaining walls, corten planters, hardwood decking, hidden bin and bike storage. All of it comes off the same drawing as the rest of the garden, so nothing looks bolted on afterwards.

Four visits a year, eight, or monthly. Pruning at the right time, feeding, mulching, lawn care and border editing. We only take on maintenance for gardens we know, because half of good maintenance is knowing what was planted where.
